National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level undergraduate exam which is conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to 5-year B.Arch. and B.Plan programs.

Candidates can appear in one or both the attempts of NATA-2021. If the candidate appears in both attempts, the better of the two scores will be considered.

NATA 2021 Application Form - Steps to Follow
- 1st Step: Registration - To fill the application form of NATA 2021, registration has to be done by firstly submitting details like name, mobile number, date of birth, and valid email id. Also, candidates have to choose a username and create a password for future log-ins.
- 2nd Step: Login to fill the application form - Using the username and password, candidates have to log-in and enter all the requisite details like personal, communication, and academic information. Also, three exam centers in order of preference have to be selected.
- 3rd Step: Upload Scanned Images of Documents - In the prescribed format by the authorities, candidates have to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and community certificate (if applicable).

- 4th Step: Generation of Application Number - Once the uploading of documents is done, candidates have to submit the application form. On submission of the NATA 2021 application form, an 8-digit application number will be generated.
- 5th Step 5: Pay Application Fee - Prescribed application fee has to be paid in online mode (credit/debit card, or net banking).
- 6th Step: Take a Print out of the Confirmation page - Download the confirmation page and take a printout of it for future reference.

NATA 2021 Exam Pattern
- NATA Exam Pattern 2021
- NATA question paper will be divided into two part- Part A and B
- Questions Type/Mode of Examination:
- Part A is drawing (Cognitive skills required for drawing and visual composition) containing preferential type questions (PTQ) and multiple-choice questions.
- Part B will carry Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) which candidates need to answer in online mode.
- Number of Questions in Each Part:
- Part A: 10 questions (4 PTQs and 6 MCQs).
- Part B: 15 MCQ’S from PCM and 35 questions from General Aptitude & Logical Reasoning.
- Exam Duration:
- 3 Hrs. 15 minutes will be allotted to complete the examination out of which PCM and General Aptitude& Logical reasoning test will be for 45 minutes while the drawing test will be for 135 minutes.
- Marking scheme:
- In part A, 1 PTQ will be of 17 marks, 3 PTQs will be of 16 marks each and 6 MCQs will be of 10 marks each. In part B, each question will carry 1.5 marks and there is no negative marking.
NATA Eligibility Criteria 2021
- Qualifying Examination:
- Pandemic Situation: Candidates who would secure the passing marks in class 12 with PCM or 10+3 diploma with Mathematics will be eligible for admissions. As per the latest
- Normally: The candidates who have passed 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination are eligible to appear in NATA
- Age limit:
- Minimum 17 years of age as of July 31, 2021.
